Early Spirit started in the fall of 2010. It was originally a solo project from New Orleans native/Jackson, MS transplant Ansley King. An avid fan of electronic and indie music, Ansley had tired of playing bass for numerous heavy bands over the years. Ansley started getting acquainted with different music software and started gaining experience in his own compositions. In December, he added a drummer/co-writer, Bobby Hansford, and started pursuing a more atmospheric style with his music. As a result of this addition to the fold, Ansley released his earlier material as a 7 song ep titled "the meek shall inherit". This album is a precursor to more and better material.
