There are two artists named Vaganza. The first were a somewhat detached, ironic, self-aware, and decidedly excessive/theatrical art-rock-pop duo consisting of multi-instrumentalists David Longworth Wallingford and Matt Quigley. Vaganza is also the name of the University of Manchester's New Music Ensemble, taking their name from John Casken's eponymous composition in recognition of his key role in promoting music at the university.
