Sarkodie
Born in Tema, Micheal Owusu aka Sarkodie (sometimes misspelled Sakordie) is a Ghanaian GH Rap artist. 11th April 2009 saw the release of his long awaited debut LP, Makye. He has recently been signed by Akon on to the Konvict Africa label and won 5 awards (Including Best Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards 2010. He has been nominated twice at the Black Entertainment Television BET Music Awards and has won one. He performed at 2014 BET Awards pre-jams.
