Nami Tamaki (玉置成実, born June 1, 1988 in Wakayama, Japan) is a Japanese pop singer. Her songs are generally very upbeat and supported with a strong dance choreography as can be seen from her music videos. Her career took off when she was selected out of 5,000 people in the Sony Music Audition of 2001 to get a chance to start a musical career. In 2003 and at 15 years old she debuted with her single "Believe", which was used as the opening theme song for the Gundam Seed anime series.
