A Heritage of Vergil is Blackened Death Metal/Progressive Hardcore band formed in Leunen, Germany in 2009. They consist of the following bandmembers:

Nils - Vocals
Tobi - Guitar
Gerrit - Guitar
Andi - Drums
Bartz - Bass
A Heritage of Vergil is a six piece German Death Metal/Hardcore band from Luenen. The band defines their style as a combination of typical death metal/black metal riffs conjoined with technical guitar shredding and lots of melodic hardcore elements. Their texts deal with sociocritical topics like social injustice and grievance in this world.
AHOV is constantly trying to deepen their own style and to keep on writing new stuff the whole time. In concert they really want to make everybody listen to their music because it is a pleasure for the band to be on stage, regardless whether a concert is in a small club with a little audience.
After the band released their first EP "Orphans of Metropolis" in June 2010 the sophomore EP "Leviticus", which is a conception album, was released in May 2011.
