Farhad
Farhad Mehrad (Persian: فرهاد مهراد) widely known in Iran as Farhad (January 20 1944, Tehran, Iran - August 31 2002, Paris, France), was a Persian legendary singer/musician. He rose to prominence among Iranian classical/folk musicians before the Islamic Revolution, but after the revolution he was banned from singing for several years. His first concert after 1978 was held in San Francisco in 1997. Farhad CDs are available from his official website
