Kitty Contana is a band from Roelofarendsveen, The Netherlands. They play funpop, with elements of disco and hardrock. The band was founded by Roel Betonville, ex-Dog's Nop. After disbanding his last band, he wanted to write and play pure popsongs. He was soon joined by Dave de Hartog, who had played with the punkrock coverband Only Entertainment. The duo launched a website http://www.kittycontana.nl, under the name of the fictional character Kitty, on which they presented their new-written songs.
