De Kreuners are a famous Flemish rock band. When they started in 1978, they received a lot of criticism for performing in Dutch. The current line-up consists of: * Walter Grootaers: lead vocals
* Eric Wauters: guitar
* Axl Peleman: bass-guitar
* Jan Van Eyken: guitar

Bode
In 1973 werkt de 18-jarige Walter Grootaers als telefonist, bode en discothecaris bij Radio 2 Omroep Antwerpen. Als liefhebber van Amerikaanse en Britse rock leert hij daar ook het Nederlandstalige repertoire kennen.
