Joyfalds’ music is reflective, hypnotising and –on a few occasions- way out of control.

Inspired by the likes of Blonde Redhead, My Bloody Valentine and Tortoise, this Leiden-based band has been around for a few years. Its first accomplishment was 2001’s home-recorded ‘Two out of millions’.

In 2004, Joyfalds releases the EP ‘Amplify’, a postrock record, which is picked up nationally. Shows are played around the country (Parkpop, Werfpop, Paradiso, Patronaat and VERA) and songs are played on the radio (3FM and KINK FM).
