Agents Of Chaos was another sideline to Hawkwind (much like Sonic Assassins) with the aim to play low-key free festivals. The band began circa 1988 with Hawkwind members Dave Brock and Harvey Bainbridge plus the band Tubilah Dog, with the moniker Hawkdog being used occasionally. By November of 1988 Harvey Bainbridge had left and was replaced by Moonloonies member Crum, who also recorded the album The Agents Of Chaos with Dave Brock.

It is worth noting that there are no official Agents Of Chaos or Hawkdog releases, and recordings circulate via bootlegs, with the exception of one track on the Travellers Aid Trust album entitled "The Damage Of Life".
