Tovar is one of the leading dj producers from mexico, he has been a musician since 1987 , playing with local tijuana bands and well known bands in mexico such as azul violeta . In 1996 he started producing electronic music and heads started to turn towards his music. Tova is now part of the Nopalbeat collective from Guadalajara Mexico, his releases in nopalbeat have been an importan part in his carrer as a dj producer. His first release was with the label EMI, the cd its called Fat Naked Lady vs Tovar, which had very good reviews. Tovar's next release was a 12' vinyl Cumbia Queens, which had a remix by canadian well known producer AKUFEN, puting tovar on a new level in his carrer. Tovar has been getting support from dj's such as danny tenaglia, ben watt, Jay west, The littlemen, Aruba, Nick Chacona, just to name a few. Tovar has more releases in vinil and cd with labels such as Nordic Trax ( as LOBBY-tovar down tempo side project) diversion , weekend records and sonic 360. Tovar remains faithfull to underground house and his up comming release with elevation recording will be something to look forward to.
