Phrakture was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, 1994. His family immigrated to Canada in 1997 and. He has spent most of his life growing up in Canada. As a child he wrote poetry, had a distinct musical taste and began to fiddle with simple midi studio programs on his computer. His love for melodic dance music grew as he fell under the influences of electronica music pioneers such as BT, Paul van Dyk, Hybrid and Sasha. After upgrading his production software he spent over 4 years learning software production.
