Cooler by the Lake is your rock 'n roll fantasy band come to life -- they can barely fit on your average stage. There's a saxophonist/flautist, two guitars, keys, bass, drums, backup singers, and lead vocalist, Rory Lake has the stage presence of a wild boar who's missed breakfast and is dying to pounce on even the tiniest morsel of food. A frantic concoction of late 70s/early 80s rock, glam and prog, CBTL has vowed to thoroughly rock any venue, no matter the size or crowd.

Their recordings barely do their live show any justice. If you're in the Chicago area, it's highly recommended you attend one of their gigs. They are currently working on their 2nd studio album.
