Elin Rosseland
Elin Rosseland (born April 5, 1959 in Norway) is a singer, bandleader, and composer who studied at the Norwegian Academy of Music and is known from collaborations with Vigleik Storaas, Johannes Eick, Sidsel Endresen, Eldbjørg Raknes, Christian Wallumrød, and Johannes Eick. Elin Rosseland released her first solo recording in 1989 and has since taken part in a long list of recording projects and concerts troughout Norway and abroad. She is a leading Norwegian female singer. Her music has an unique sound: a powerful yet "silent og quiet" experience.
