Alex Agnew
Alex Agnew (Antwerpen, 1973) is een Belgisch cabaretier en stand-upcomedian. Agnew werd bekend toen hij in februari 2003 als eerste Belg het Leids Cabaret Festival won (Jury-en Publieksprijs). Na lang te hebben getoerd in de typische line-ups van comedy collectief ging in 2006 zijn eerste avondvullende soloshow in première, getiteld KA-BOOM!
Agnew heeft een Engelse vader en een Limburgse moeder. Hij verzorgt geen rustige, diep intellectuele humor maar staat eerder voor rock 'n roll comedy.
Naast stand-upcomedian is Agnew ook zanger. Hij is frontman van de rockgroep DIABLO BLVD.
