Trio Calaveras


Trío Calaveras are a Mexican vocal trio accompanied on acoustic guitar, singing ranchera, bolero and traditional mexican folk. Originally founded in Mexico in 1931 and have been performing through the years with various line-ups changes. Their are notable for their performances and recordings with pop singer Jorge Negrete. Their name means "Skulls Trio"; in Mexico "calavera" also means a cool Casanova.
