A Kamikaze's Dream, out of Long Island, is the product of many lineup changes, and a large dose of creativity. Originally 41st & 5th, the band formed in 2003. At the time, the band focused heavily on ska and pop influences. After parting ways with Zach Schoepflin, their original singer, and Chris Malico, their saxophone player, the band began to focus on molding a heavier, more mature sound. During their high school career, 41st & 5th released one EP and two LP's, and played over 100 local shows.
