Guy Pearson
Guy Pearson (8th May, 1959) is a British-born pianist and composer. He exhibits an expressive style which draws on a broad range of musical influences. He is both studio artist and live performer and has contributed to soundtracks for theatre, documentary film & television.
Recent commercial recordings include a new acoustic album by the internationally acclaimed Canadian band Delerium. Released in October 2010, 'Voice' includes a new version of Sarah McLachlan's hit single 'Silence'. His compositions have been featured in the UK hit TV series The Apprentice and Raymond Blanc's Kitchen Secrets, more recently, Channel 4’s, ‘Orchestra United!
Somewhere Across The Water is a collection of original works for solo piano and was released in 2008. His latest project, GLAD DAY, is a new musical setting of the poety of the artist William Bake and was released in November 2010.
