Banjo Drill used to sing for Wigglepussy, Indiana and Blackcat Revival, whose sounds can best be described as "dark cabaret". With this first solo effort, Music for Humans, Banjo takes a different approach, crafting upbeat, fun songs that rock the block. On the surface, Music for Humans is a bluesy, spacey, gritty, danceable collection of pop oddities. The stories are told with whimsical imagery that sometimes border on the absurd and surreal.
