formed officially in kansas city, mo in summer of 2001 when tyler received an offer to open for the liars. moved to portland, or in summer of 2002. released first album 'blue-eyed' on their own endless december recordings label in november of 2004 amidst several moves, unemployment, soul-sucking poverty and self-loathing. some of the songs had been in the recording process since april of 2001. stefanie joined in december of 2004. her first show in shalloboi was at the knitting factory in l.a. in february of 2005.
