Angmaer is a English black metal band featuring the frontman Angmaer (Eternally Enthroned) as the sole artist and composer of the band. The word “Angmaer” was originally "Angmar" in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord Of The Rings" (where the Witch King lives), but was changed to Angmaer to make it different, even if it was a little bit. The band was formed in Wolverhampton, England 2013. Their first release “Sorg, Trolldom, Vinter” was made up of songs that Angmaer originally intended to use for Eternally Enthroned's debut album but felt they were not in the style and spirit of the band.
