Baishō Chieko, 倍賞千恵子 (June 29, 1941 -) born in Kita, Japan, is a Japanese actress and singer. She is the older sister of Mitsuko Baisho. Chieko has been married to the Japanese composer Reijiro Koroku since 1993. She is famed for her role as Sakura, the half-sister of the lovable loser Tora-san, in the 48 films of the Otoko wa tsurai yo series (1969-1995). Read more on Last.fm.
