Auranova is a Latin rock group made up of two passionate, talented south Texan singer songwriters. Damaso "Tony" Cantu (vocals, guitar) and Chris Cohen (vocals,pianist,guitarist) primarily make up the group and both are responsible for producing their own music in various project studios.

The dynamic duo started the project back in the summer of 2009 while casually jamming out together. Since then, Chris and Tony have relocated at least three times across the U.S with hopes of landing a record deal and putting together a debut rock album that will convey a positive message about life's tribulations with love, addiction, and depression. Through out this musical journey together, both have refused to succumb to every scenario and test that all artists and musicians go through while making their climb to the top....

In mid 2011, the band proudly announced 21yr old Jared Cota as the newest and youngest member of the band. Cota is replacing former lead guitar player Simon Hernandez who left the group late in 2010.
