1.The Exit is a band from New York City whose craft blends a delicate taste of 80's dub and reggae with 90's punk and indie rock. Comprised of Jeff DaRosa on bass and vocals, Ben Brewer on lead guitar and vocals, and the singularly-named Gunnar on drums, The Exit function similarly to the Clash or Husker Du. Two individual songwriters, that each posses their own unique sound and point of view, while complimenting each other. If DaRosa’s work tends toward introspection, Brewer’s songs are searing and bold, while both attack affairs of the heart and matters of the world.
