1995 - Andreas Betten and Olaf Wollschläger decide to start their music project VORSPUNG DURCH TECHNIK. Influences for both music and band name: HOBBY, a nerdish magazine from the 50's 60's about future technologies. The .. electro vs. Rock. First studio sessions, first club gigs. 1996 - Recording sessions for the debut album Plankalkül, inspired by the name of the first computer software written by the computer pioneer Konrad Zuse. Session takes place at the EASTCOTE Studios in London, door to door with Wollschläger's Idols DEPECHE MODE.
