With influences ranging from Siouxsie and the Banshees to Tom Waits and Journey, Blackbird is a member of the psychedelic hip-hop group Dark Leaf (produced at times by Cut Chemist). He has released a number of solo albums, including Fetterless in 2003, Bird's Eye View in 2005 (both produced by Paris Zax) and Three Bird in 2009.
