Steve Slagg grew up in the small town of Montgomery City in Missouri. The son of a pastor, Steve came to grips with his faith through playing the piano at church. Pursuing his love of music from humble beginnings (playing "Aeris's Theme" from Final Fantasy VII during the offertory at church), Steve has continued to pursue music at Wheaton College in Illinois. Steve is a slave to music, art, and the weighty indie pop he churns out on his living room piano.
