The BPBS bloodline may be traced to late 2001 when members of the rock outfit Datura Blues first coined the phrase Beast, Please be Still… These four words were adopted as the band’s Mantra and have since been subjected to a wide array of interpretations… The Beast’s infancy was spent in Humboldt County where it served as host to the Datura Blues more experimental leanings… Over the course of its evolution...
