Az Express megalakulásuk évében, 1962-ben a XIII. kerületi Dixieland zenekar névvel felléptek a ´Ki Mit Tud´-on. Vezetőjük Solymos Antal, akit a szakma csak ´Tóni´-nak ismer. Megszámlálhatatlan produkcóban dolgoztak, például Koós János és Kovács Kati lemezein is. Külföldi turnék, rádióműsorok, fesztiválok állandó közreműködői, albumuk oroszul is megjelent. 1975-ben a ´Tessék Választani´, 1976-ban a ´Made In Hungary´ győztesei voltak. 1977: Jöjj hozzám (Hungaroton-Pepita)
