Electroputas is a trio from New York City, created in the late 90's. They play an aggressive mixture of different kinds of music, such as noise, avant-garde, psychedelic, japanese freakout, krautrock, no wave, etc. The band was created by Joe Frivaldi (Hungary), Jaiko Suzuki and Akio Mokuno (both from Japan).
Electroputas is rather underground group, which rarely plays in the clubs of NYC. They already played with Black Dice, William Parker, Pan Sonic, Arto Lindsay, No Neck Blues Band, Caroliner Rainbow (aka Caroliner) & James Chance.
