There are at least three artists using this name: 1) Dmitriy Chistov is likely to be one of the most prolific post-industrial artists specializing in various ambient music in Russia. Hum and maw are closer to drone ambient, Sphogha and Nigredo - to noise ambient. 2) Maw is a 'dark' death metal band from London/Leamington Spa, who released their first demo at the beginning of 2011. 3) MAW is a 3 piece sludge rock band from Belfast Northern Ireland.
