David Ruis is a Canadian Christian artist known for his blending of pop, rock, electronica, and world into his musical style.

David Ruis is known for his strong, powerful, and heartfelt lyrics which have made several of his songs standards in Church worship, most notable being "You're Worthy of My Praise" and "Every Move I Make".

David Ruis gives significant focus to his music and involves himself extensively in it's production, writing, and composition.

David Ruis is also known for his lively, stunning, and spontaneous renditions of his music as well as his collaboration with other artists and friends.

His music has varying themes, among them is the discovery and integration of theology and creative worship that will bring to the addressing the issues of poverty and social injustice.

David Ruis has also written two books in regards to the subject, "The Justice God Is Seeking" and "The Worship God Is Seeking"
