WEBCAM HI-FI est le projet que mène Fredread avec passion. Sa musique s'inscrit dans la tradition des sounds systems jamaicains et anglais. Webcam Hi-Fi produit un reggae influencé par le son roots jamaicain des années 70 et le dub parfois plus digital developpé en Angleterre depuis les années 90. Ses mentors sont autant Sly & Robbie, Black Uhuru, Aswad, Mad Professor, Dub Syndicate que Twilight circus
ou Nucleus Roots et Dry & Heavy pour ne citer qu'eux.
