From Montpellier (France), with hate and arrogance. With the early Wampas and the Happy Drivers, Les Vierges were the most notable Tocqueville’s country psychotic rockabilly band of the mid-80’s. When being asked for a re-edition of their early out-of-print singles, the response was: “Never! Those who had to have it had it. The others can die!” But they weren’t as tough as they wished to be and the re-edition was a reasonable compromise. Lead singer Koza K. Korch was nominated to be Parabellum’s new lyricist (after the demise of Géant Vert) but he didn’t get the job.
