In today's vast musical landscape, Sarah Vanell provides audiences with a unique and engaging listening experience. Her voice exudes a rare purity, and her songwriting gives listeners a dose of substance and meaning that is missing from a majority of contemporary music.

Vanell, a 24 year old Arizona native, has been performing for the past 6 years and has since become a favorite of booking agents throughout the Valley. She has been fortunate to pursue music full time by performing for public and private events, weddings, and high-class establishments. Sarah has more recently taken to the club circuit, playing only her original music, which has been very well received.

The more recent of her two independently released albums, Fickle, presents hints of her influences such as Sarah McLachlan, The Cranberries, and Judy Collins. It also showcases her full band that will again be featured on her upcoming album. Fickle has been gaining traction since its release in early 2007 and the song, "Sleep," was recently nominated for Adult Contemporary Song of August by SongofTheYear.com.

Sarah is currently working on songs for a third release. drawing from influences such as Tori Amos and Regina Spektor.
