Brock Zanrosso was the first runner-up of the widely popular YTV show, The Next Star, a televised singing competition like Canadian Idol but for teens under 15 years of age. Born in Vancouver on May 24, 1994, Brock is the youngest of four children. He has two sisters and an older brother. As a child, he was actively involved in sports and played both hockey and soccer. Brock eventually discovered his true passion was expressing himself as an artist. He began taking minor roles in small theatre productions and school plays, honing his acting skills and building his stage presence.
