Friedemann (b. 1951) is a German musican. Friedemann was born in Freiburg, Germany. Though he had several years of formal music training on the cello and recorder as a youth, his musical direction was set by the discovery of an old guitar. By the age of fifteen, this self-taught guitarist was the toast of regional music festivals, earning numerous awards for his distinctive style and expressive flair. From 1970 to 1980 Friedemann lived in London, England, where he continued to expand his artistic horizons, studying art and photography, and producing a children's music series, Tinderbox.
