Beliars Entity
BELIARS ENTITY is a five-piece band from Fulda, Germany, which combines energetic post-hardcore with brutal deathcore since 2007 and is now ready to rock the stage.
Founded in summer 07 the band consisted of one singer, Moritz Firle (ex-BURNING HORIZON), just as one guitarist, Arthur Radvilas and one drummer, Johannes Liebsch (ex-BARTON FINK). Their musical ideas were somewhere between fusion, deathmetal and hardcore. After the joining of a rhythm-guitarist in fall 07, the band took a few days in the Audimension-studio to record a three-song-promo.
Unfortunately the former lead-guitarist Arthur left the band after the studio days due to musical and personal differences. However, a new guitarist was found quickly with Jacob Silbernagel (ex- MENDELYA & EMBRACE THE MOON), who was decisive for the musical direction of BELIARS ENTITY later on. A bass-player was found with Sven Ossenbühl (also ex- BURNING HORIZON) as well. At this time there was a phase of musical re-orientation due to the different ideas of each bandmember, so that many songs were written, which were set aside or disappeared in the vast amount of songfiles. At the end of 07 the second guitarist Pascal left the band to focus more on his job and his side-projects. In spite of all beginning difficulties a new second guitarist was found eventually, who added a very metal-touch to the later songs.
Since spring 08 the constant line-up of BELIARS ENTITY consists of Moritz (vocals), Jacob (first guitar), Christopher Canisius (second guitar), Sven (bass) and Johannes (drums). The musical direction can be pinpointed between post-hardcore, deathmetal and progressive, comparisons could be drawn to bands like VEIL OF MAYA, BRING ME THE HORIZON or MY BITTER END. With their mix of jazzy post-hardcore harmonies, brutal downtempo-polyrhythmics and metal-biased vocals BELIARS ENTITY create a polarising hardcore-deathmetal-hybrid since the summer of 2008. In the late summer of the same year the five boys recorded another two demo-tracks, anticipating from their coming EP. This EP is produced right at the moment and will be released expected in spring 09. Furthermore BELIARS ENTITY are now more than ready to leave the stages of this world completely devastated...
In July 2010 the short but still brilliant career had to be broken up because the drummer has left the band. But there is still hope. Most members of the original band found together again in summer of 2012 and started a new band called The Venture. Read more on Last.fm.
