Akoko is a Los Angeles-based duo consisting of Sugg Savage & Sloane Amelia, formed in 2010. Originally from Washington, D.C., their focus is on blending their love of Rock, Neo-Soul, Reggae, & Hip-Hop music to create great music as art. Sugg Savage & Sloane Amelia are both multi-talented musicians, performing together in different musical organizations for over 4 years. Sugg, a singer/songwriter & guitarist, is a student of Berklee College of Music and is the duo's lead vocalist. Singer/songwriter Sloane Amelia attends Howard University and is Akoko’s lead MC.
