Finding Fiction
What began in '08 as a recording project for NYC transplant Mario Santana, by '09 blossomed into a full touring band playing over 150 shows including fests like SXSW, NXNE and MidPoint. Drawing influences from arty-garage-post-punks like Guided by Voices, Wire or The Replacements, Finding Fiction's music has been characterized as "Whirring wide-eyed", "cleverly constructed", balancing "the ethereal with the melodic".
