Texas-Bred Blues Specializing in contemporary blues and classic R&B soul music, axemaster Beautiful Bobby Blackmon's career began in a small town called Athens, not far from the Dallas, Texas area. His Texas blues influence is heard loud ‘n’ proud in his soulful guitar playing. During his early musical career, Beautiful Bobby Blackmon has played in many house bands and worked as a sideman behind artists the likes of Barbara Lynn, Jimmy Reed, ZZ Hill, Johnny Taylor, Lavelle White and Lou Rawls. The current lineup of Beautiful Bobby Blackmon & The B3 Blues Band includes Jack Bumgarner on keyboards, Chuck Newcomb on bass and drummer Darnel Kelly. He appears frequently with his band in the Orlando,Fl area and has a dedicated fan base. His live performances is gaining him a reputation of being the "real deal" entertainer.
