Doug Rich grew up on the South Side of Chicago. To escape the perils of his environment, he joined the United States Air Force in search of a brighter future. Instead, he found the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq- ravaged by war and yet eerily similar to the streets back home.

Upon completion of multiple tours in the Middle-East, Doug returned a man armed with new purpose and direction. He found inspiration which he chose to express through Hip-Hop. His flow is reminiscent of legendary emcees: abrasive and blunt like Scarface with a poetic style similar to the iconic Tupac Shakur- yet remains 100% original. Doug delivers tales of personal experience that reflect a perspective as yet unseen in the genre of Hip-Hop. He is currently preparing for the release of his debut album, "Boot Camp" and booking shows locally.
