Barbie Almalbis
Barbie's Almalbis' fame started with the band Hungry Young Poets and their first hit "Firewoman". Barbie moved on to form Barbie's Cradle with a couple of members from Hungry Young Poets (aka HYP). Their first single, "The Dance", became a hit due to its melancholic and folk sound. The band's popularity further increased after the teen soap opera from ABS-CBN, entitle "Tabing Ilog", used a song of the same from their debut album.
