The eight piece band features Colombian singer Irma Monsalve Botero, a pioneer of the Sydney salsa movement whose passionate stage performance with a characteristic timing phrasing and feeling, captivates the audience leaving them breathless. Irma was born in Cali, The Salsa Music Capital of the Americas, a place that gives birth to an exceptional number of musical talents, where the roots of Cuban music are an essential part of everyday life and greatly influenced her early years.
