Marcellus Hall


Marcellus Hall is an artist and musician. Hall moved to New York City in 1987 and became a founding member of the band Railroad Jerk. The group eventually released four full-length albums on Matador Records. He published small books of his writings and drawings, and from 1990-93 he created the comic strip, Bill Dogbreath, which appeared in weekly newspapers across the country. He now does illustrations for The New Yorker and New York Press, and works on his solo act with his back up band currently consisting of Damen Smith [Bass/Vocals], Mike Shapiro , and Troy Fannin [Keyboards/Guitar/Vocal].
