The seminal Deathrock legend that is now spoken of and world renowned as ''Astrovamps'' oddly enough began it's arcane journey in 1989 as ''The Babydolls,'' a well coiffed miniskirt wearing mob who were the precursors and innovators of a then thriving Hollywood Glam/Punk scene in Los Angeles, United States which also boasted the likes of ''Stars From Mars'', ''Glamour Punks'', ''Kommunity FK'' and ''December Flowers.
