The Heart of the City Worship Band was established in 1996 as a multi-ethnic Christian band focused on praise and worship and calling Christians to Biblical unity. There are 10 different ethnic groups represented in the band. The music of Heart of the City is intentionally stylistically diverse. Their music styles include Gospel, jazz, rock, hymns, Reggae, Salsa, Messianic, Native American, Caribbean and East Indian influences utilizing the diverse voices and skills of the band members.
