1. LiGHTSPEED is the mainstream alias of Indonesian Hardcore/trancecore producer DJ Counterforce. He started producing in 2004, but it took until 2008 before he became really active under this name. Under this alias he mainly focuses on genres like trance, techno and DnB. His name originated from his love for fast, yet melodic music. 2. In late 1989, a chance meeting of two musicians gave birth to the Canadian band Lightspeed. While in a local pub, Rod Chappell was introduced to Terry Crawford and the two discussed their mutual appreciation for various styles of music.
