Solo artist Cabaret Rat hails from Banbury, Oxon. His musical influences come from a selection of bands from the eighties/early nineties American alt rock and industrial movements, such as Ministry, Jim Foetus and Big Black, as well as British punk, and later dance and electronica. He started writing in 2006, with the release of his debut lp 'Infected Milk', and subsequently started performing in 2007.
