Talvihorros is the work of Scotland based composer and producer Ben Chatwin, working in the field of ambient electronics. Through his distinctive approach to the guitar, he crafts dense and dark compositions that hint at the conflicting beauty/chaos of the cosmos. Sonically dynamic, ambitious and thoughtful – melodic patterns fight for space with huge arcing drones – always teetering on the edge of collapsing under its own weight.

Talvihorros has performed live with the likes of Tim Hecker, Oneohtrix Point Never, Mika Vainio, Andy Stott, Loscil and Barn Owl often as a duo incorporating live drums.
